Sophie Flowers Cornwall x St. Eval | Sustainable Floral Workshop

Sophie Flowers Cornwall x St. Eval | Sustainable Floral Workshop

Celebrating nature's enchanting simplicity, seasonal transition and sustainability, in September we were delighted to collaborate and attend Sophie Flowers Cornwall's' stunning sustainable floral workshop.

Using locally grown flowers and foraged foliage, attendees learned all about the art of tablescaping with the seasons and created beautiful, garden-inspired flower arrangements using recycled St. Eval candle tins.

Hosted at the natural haven of Cabilla Cornwall, we embraced the power of flowers in honour of two incredible Cornish charities, Thousand Year Trust and Cornwall Wildlife Trust. All profits from this event were split evenly between the two.

United in ambition and an abundance of floral delight, we spent a wonderfully mist-kissed September afternoon basking in the elegant simplicity of wildlife. Blessed with a beautiful array of locally grown flowers and foraged foliage, we embraced creativity, carefully curated and engaged in conversations on the sensational potency and importance of Cornwall's wonderful wildlife and natural world.

Graciously guiding us, Sophie orchestrated her simply elegant floral creations, shared her finest florist's tips and tricks, and honoured us with her exclusive flower notebook. Exploring the garden-inspired flower arrangements and art of transformative tablescaping, each intricately organised stem and delicate collation of flowers encased in our St. Eval tins reshaped our shared space and gifted us all with a new lease of natural life.

Captivated by the wellbeing benefits and bewitching presence of nature, we indulged our hearty spirits with a special touch of fizz and indulgent sweet treats. As we tucked into a delicious slice of lovingly home-baked blackberry cake, we shared a great sense of gratitude, and admired our glorious imaginations and flourishing flower arrangements.

Shining some light on the day, Sophie shared:

"A big thank you to St. Eval candles and their wonderful team for helping me to bring this workshop to life. It was a pleasure to teach all guests about seasonality and sustainability through the joy of flowers.

We are beyond delighted to be donating all profits to Thousand Year Trust and Cornwall Wildlife Trust, to help in the education and understanding of our wonderful Earth and its wildlife, as well as the benefits thriving green environments have on our physical and mental wellbeing.

We look forward to the new season and more partnerships in the near future."

We would love to say a huge thank you to Cabilla Cornwall for hosting, and the wonderful Sophie Flowers for organising this truly lovely day and workshop.
